Brinjal Onion Pakoda

Ingredients


4 medium sized brinjal (julienne sliced )
1 cup onion sliced
1 tablespoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
3/4 cup chickpea flour (Besan)
1/4 cup cornflour
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

Method


  • Take a bowl add julienne sliced brinjal.
  • Into that add sliced onions mix well.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder.
  • Then add chickpea flour and cornflour.
  • Mix everything well and add very little water to bind.
  • Now heat oil in a pan.
  • Add prepared mixture in small portions slowly into oil.
  • Fry then till golden brown.
  • Take them out of oil and serve them hot.
