Simple Fish Fry

1/2 kg fish cleaned
2 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon coriander powder
11/2 ginger garlic paste
2 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Take fish on one plate.
  • Make slits in that.
  • Mix chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder with ginger garlic paste.
  • Add water if needed to make a fine paste.
  • Apply masala paste to fish.
  • Let all pieces coat well.
  • Let fish marinate for 1/2 hour minimum.
  • Take a pan pour oil and place fish pieces carefully. 
  • Fry them turning both sides till brown.
  • Turn off the heat and take it in a plate.
  • The fish fry is ready.

Note

Always keep fish in the fridge for marination.
We can make apply masala for a large batch of fish and store it in the freezer for 2 to 3 days.
Just take out fish from freezer 1/2 hour before frying and put it at room temperature.
Then fry it as usual.
