Ingredients
1/4 kg mutton
3 drumsticks diced
2 onions chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
2 green chilies
1/2 small bunch coriander
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
lemon size tamarind soaked
1 tablespoon oil
salt to taste
Method
- Heat a pressure cooker add oil.
- Add chopped onions and fry them well.
- Add salt and ginger garlic paste( i am using unsalted homemade ginger garlic paste).
- Fry well add mutton fry till mutton change colour.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, and coriander powder.
- Fry everything well.
- Add 2 cups water and little salt mix once and close the lid.
- Pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistles and switch off the flame.
- Open cooker after cooling down.
- Switch on flame add drumsticks, tamarind extract, coriander leaves and little salt mix well.
- Close lid and pressure cook for 1 to 2 whistles.
- After cooling down open cooker check gravy consistency.
- If gravy is thin cook gravy for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Finally, switch off the flame and serve the curry with hot steamed rice...
