Onion Red Chilli Ghee Dosa ( Nellore Special Neyyi Karam Dosa )

Ingredients

4 cups Dosa Batter
10 to 15 red chillies
1 big onion diced
5 to 6 garlic cloves
Salt as per taste
Ghee for frying dosas

Method

  • Take chillies in a bowl add 1/2 cup water.
  • Microwave for 30 sec let chillies soak in hot water.
  • In a grinding jar add soaked chillies, diced onions, garlic and salt.
  • Grind everything well to a fine paste.
  • Now heat tawa and pour dosa batter spread it evenly.
  • Let dosa cook on medium to low flame for a while.
  • Add prepared red chilli and onion paste and spread it evenly.
  • Pour ghee/clarified butter to dosa.
  • Let dosa turn golden then lightly lift from one side and roll out dosa.
  • Serve immediately with groundnut chutney or coconut chutney...
