Mango Kulfi - Mango Kulfi Recipe Without Condensed Milk

Servings               6 to 7 people

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons almond paste
2 teaspoons custard powder
1 cup mango pulp

Method

  • Heat a vessel add 1 1/2 cups milk.
  • Add fresh cream mixture and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add sugar and cook till sugar dissolves well.
  • Then add cardamom powder mix and bring milk to boil.
  • Add almond paste mix everything well.
  • Dissolve custard powder in 1/4 cup milk. 
  • Add this mixture to milk and cook on medium flame stirring continuously.
  • Switch off the flame and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Take cooled mixture to blending jar and add mango pulp.
  • Blend everything to smooth paste.
  • Take kulfi moulds and pour prepared mixture into moulds.
  • Freeze for 7 to 10 hours.
  • Take moulds out and keep them on running water for 10 seconds de-mould and enjoy...
